ENTRY

The Scottish Impact Awards 2026 celebrate the organisations across Scotland that are leading the way in responsible business practices and embedding Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) principles into their strategy, culture, and community impact.

Entries are open to organisations of all sizes, from micro enterprises to large corporations, public sector, third sector and charities, and education, ensuring that outstanding efforts are recognised fairly and inclusively.

Who Can Enter?

These awards are open to:

All registered organisations operating in Scotland

Organisations of all sizes:

– Micro (1–10 employees)
– Small/Medium (11–250 employees)
– Large (250+ employees)

Applicants may enter multiple categories where relevant.

Each entry must demonstrate clear ESG initiatives and measurable outcomes specific to the chosen category.

All categories are judged by organisation size to ensure fairness and inclusivity.

How to Enter

1. Choose the relevant category (or categories)
2. Click ‘ENTER NOW’ to submit an entry form including:

– Business details & size category
– A written submission addressing the award criteria and questions.
– Supporting evidence (recommended): testimonials, metrics, case studies, images.

CATEGORIES

Climate Action Champion

Recognising organisations making significant contributions to reducing carbon footprints and promoting sustainability.

Entry Criteria

  • Concrete actions toward carbon reduction, energy efficiency, or net-zero targets
  • Implementation of sustainable procurement, waste reduction, or ethical sourcing
  • Evidence of measurable environmental impact
  • Long-term strategy integrating sustainability at the core of the business

Community Impact Award

Recognising organisations that make a measurable difference to local communities through social projects, regeneration initiatives, inclusion programmes, or community collaborations.

Entry Criteria

  • Evidence of a community-focused project, partnerships, or initiatives
  • Demonstrated positive, measurable social or community impact
  • Alignment with organisational ESG values and long-term community benefit
  • Community and stakeholder engagement

Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Award – sponsored by Diageo

Celebrating organisations that foster inclusive workplaces, champion diversity, and address social inequalities in Scotland.

Entry Criteria

  • Proven commitment to building an inclusive, diverse workplace
  • Initiatives or policies addressing inequality and representation
  • Measurable outcomes benefiting employees and/or wider communities
  • Leadership and advocacy for diversity & inclusion best practice

Sustainable Innovation Award

Recognising organisations developing innovative products, services, or processes that drive sustainability and circular economy practices.

Entry Criteria

  • Delivery of innovative solutions addressing environmental or social sustainability
  • Evidence of ESG-driven innovation outcomes
  • Application of circular economy principles
  • Scalability and long-term positive impact

Wellbeing & Workforce Award

Recognising organisations prioritising employee wellbeing, mental health, fair wages, and ethical employment practices.

Entry Criteria

  • Clear policies and initiatives promoting employee wellbeing and mental health
  • Fair wages, ethical employment practices, and diversity commitments
  • Demonstrated positive impact on employee satisfaction and retention
  • Evidence of ethical workplace leadership beyond compliance
