The Scottish Agriculture Awards are back for a hat trick of success with our third year, celebrating the very best of our industry. The Scottish Farmer is delighted to once again partner with AgriScot and the Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland to recognise the people and businesses driving Scottish agriculture forward.

Following a fantastic first two years, we’re making this year’s event bigger and better than ever.
At a time of change, it’s vital to celebrate excellence—whether from newcomers shaping the future or established names continuing to innovate.
With RHASS and AgriScot’s expertise, we will deliver a night that reflects the professionalism and passion of our industry. We’re looking for nominations from across Scotland, from traditional farms to pioneering start-ups. A panel of expert judges will carefully select the winners, ensuring only the best are recognised.
Join us this October to champion our sector, celebrate success, and inspire the next generation of Scottish farming.

“The return of the Scottish Agriculture Awards for a third year is a true reflection of the tremendous support they have received since their inception, firmly establishing them as a highlight in the industry calendar.
In what has been a challenging year for many, these awards provide a much-needed platform to celebrate successes, strengthen networks and showcase the incredible work happening across the sector – from advancements in technology, to progress towards net zero and the development of the next generation.
“At RHASS, we stand to support agricultural heritage while championing the advancements being made across the industry which makes it a great privilege to be involved in these awards which recognise outstanding achievements once again. We wish entrants the very best of luck and look forward to celebrating with those who are helping to shape the future of the sector at the awards themselves later in the year.”

Gilmour Lawrie, AgriScot Chairman reflects on the awards since they launched three years ago.
The Scottish Agriculture Awards are now a key event in the annual calendar, and one AgriScot is incredibly proud to partner, alongside The Scottish Farmer and Royal Highland & Agricultural Society (RHASS).
Since that inaugural event back in 2023, the awards have gone from strength to strength, developing new categories, a larger venue to accommodate more guests, increased awareness thanks to all those involved, and a reminder of what is so special within our sector – its people.
There is no doubt the collaboration, not only between the core partners, but also the sponsors and supporters, demonstrates the significant value these awards contribute to the Scottish economy, as well as our agricultural communities.
Whilst they are about celebrating successes, the biggest reward for me is the stories that are shared about the finalists and winners, offering invaluable insights that can support other businesses, stimulating new thinking and driving positive change.
This is something we have always advocated for at AgriScot, bringing people together in a supportive environment for shared learning, allowing time for people to connect, and grow their businesses. Both the awards ceremony in October, and AgriScot on 19th November are great opportunities to spotlight all that is great within our sector.
