A senior lawyer at Scullion Law has been recognised for her contribution to both the legal profession and the Armed Forces community after being shortlisted for two honours at the Scottish Veterans Awards 2026.
Stephanie Grieve, an associate director in the firm’s criminal defence team, was named a finalist in the Leader of the Year category and secured a Silver medal in the Reservist of the Year award.
The Scottish Veterans Awards celebrate individuals, organisations and businesses that have made a significant impact on the lives of veterans and members of the Armed Forces community across Scotland.
Ms Grieve combines her legal career with service as an Army Reservist, balancing professional responsibilities with military commitments.
She is part of Scullion Law’s highly regarded criminal defence team, which holds top-tier rankings in both Legal 500 and Chambers.
Her latest recognition adds to a growing list of achievements and follows her success at the Scottish Forces in Business Awards 2025, where she received the Military Values in Business Award.
The recognition also reflects Scullion Law’s wider commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.
The firm has previously been awarded the Ministry of Defence Gold Employer Recognition Award, recognising its support for serving personnel, veterans and reservists.
With offices in Glasgow, Hamilton and Edinburgh, Scullion Law specialises in criminal defence, family law, property law, wills and powers of attorney.
Stephanie Grieve said: “I am honoured to have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Scottish Veteran Awards.
“It is a privilege to be able to provide the best legal representation to members of the Armed Forces Community.
“Balancing my role at Scullion LAW with my responsibilities as a Reservist is something I care deeply about, and I am grateful for the kind nominations.
“Thank you for all the support from family, friends and my colleagues at Scullion LAW.”
Kris Buchanan, partner and head of the criminal defence team at Scullion Law, said: “Stephanie’s nominations are thoroughly deserved.
“She brings discipline, leadership and a strong sense of responsibility to her role, and her contribution to the team is significant.
“We are proud to support her both in her legal career and in her service as a reservist.”
