THE cream of Scotland’s hair and beauty industry will be celebrated at The Herald’s Look Awards.

We are expecting a huge number of entries again this year, from training institutions and start-up companies to those taking the beauty industry by storm.

Now in their third year, The Look Awards, run in association with High Definition, reward the very best in hair, beauty and aesthetics across the country.

Title sponsor High Definition is supporting the Outstanding Contribution of the Year accolade.

Global beauty consultant Sandra Vaughan said “We were very impressed with the calibre of entries last year and are excited to see what this year will bring. These awards provide an unrivalled platform for beauty businesses in Scotland.”

New sponsor Good Salon Guide is supporting a new category for 2017, the Colour Expert Recognition Award.

Managing director, Gareth Penn, said: “The Look Awards recognises talent, and we look forward to seeing the finalists and helping to judge the winners.”

The One to Watch Award this year is sponsored by Pure Spa.
