Can I nominate more than one person/organisation?
Of course, we would welcome as many nominations as you have.
Can I nominate the same person/organisation into more than one category?
Yes, you are welcome to nominate the same person/organisation across a number of our categories. Please note the judges reserve the right to move nominees into different categories should they feel they fit the criteria better.
How do I nominate a person or organisation for the awards?
You must complete our online nomination form or look out for our paper entry forms which will be in the Impartial Reporter throughout the campaign.
What is the deadline for nominations?
The nominations deadline is Thursday June 25, 2026.
What happens next once I’ve submitted a nomination?
Once you have submitted a nomination, we will add your nomination to the judging pack for consideration. Once the judging has taken place, we will contact you to let you know if your entry has been shortlisted or not.
How does the judging process work?
All the nominations we receive will be considered by our judging panel at the judging session in June. Please note that the shortlist and winners are decided solely by our panel and do not come down to a public vote or number of nominations received.
When will the shortlist be announced?
The shortlist will be listed in the Impartial Reporter and on this website in July.
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will be announced at our glittering awards ceremony on Thursday, 3 September 2026.
What do I do if I have more questions?
We are happy to answer any additional questions you may have regarding the entry process or event. Please contact Sharon Franchetti, Event Manager, on sharon.franchetti@newsquest.co.uk.
