THE Look Awards are returning for the second year to reward the very best in hair, beauty and aesthetics.
The awards, in association with Phorest, create the perfect platform for the hair, beauty and aesthetics sector to demonstrate how their work, salon, business strategies and services are making an impressive contribution to the industry.

Entries are now open for the best experts in the industry to be considered for an award in one of 20 categories this year.
Categories include Defacto Best Salon (small, medium, large) in the hair category section and the Defacto Best Cosmetic Dentist category in the aesthetics section.

City of Glasgow College is sponsoring the Best Start Up category which recognises new businesses that are already creating an impact in their first two years of operation.
Eleanor Doull, head of marketing at City of Glasgow College, said the award “reflects our commitment to developing new talent”.
Men’s Hairdressing Federation is partner of the Best Barbers award which rewards setting trends and capturing clients’ interests.
Adam Sloan, chief executive officer of Men’s Hairdressing Federation, said: “It is a privilege to be sponsoring and presenting the barber award this year. Scottish barbering is of the highest standards so please send in your entries for thus prestigious award.”
The team at Beautiful Brows and Lashes Professional have joined the event this year supporting the Best Salon category in the health and beauty section and the Cosmetic Clinic of the Year award.
Chris Christoforou, training director, said: “The Scottish health and beauty industry is thriving and there are so many fantastic salons, stylists and clinics out there.
“These awards provide us with the opportunity to engage with the entrants and showcase our business. We encourage everyone to enter and get involved, we look forward to meeting you all.”
Fake Bake United is also supporting the Best Use of Social Media category this year.

The entry deadline is Thursday, March 24, and it is FREE to enter any number of categories.
