The Herald is delighted to continue to celebrate the wealth of talent in Scotland shown by online retailers, bloggers, designers and graduates who have successfully exploited the internet to grow their fashion business.
The Herald Fashion.co.uk Awards 2016, supported by Bridge 2 Business, Therapie Clinic, Markup and s1jobs, have partnered to host a stylish awards ceremony, hosted by Jean Johansson, on Sunday, November 13.
The awards will be held at the Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow, bringing together Scotland’s thriving online fashion scene.
This year saw a record number of entries, with Scottish companies achieving impressive reach through their e-commerce sites and social media platforms. The panel praised the engaging campaign, designed sites and positive approach to customer service through live blogs, competitions and rapid response online.
Brian McEwan, programme manager Bridge 2 Business, said: “The Bridge 2 Business team at Young Enterprise Scotland are really looking forward to the evening’s entertainment.
“It’s a great way to meet the finalists, catch up with friends within the fashion industry and enjoy what has always been a great celebration of creativity and innovation.
“If the standard of all the 2016 shortlisted finalists is anything to go by, The Herald Online Fashion Awards is going to be an awesome night.”
Barry Gear, the director of Markup, said: “It is a great honour to be involved in it this year, to enjoy the opportunity to celebrate the very finest Scotland has to offer.”
Katie McGlade, company director, Therapie Clinic, said: “Congratulations to all the finalists.
