THE outstanding achievements of colleges and universities across Scotland will be celebrated in a glittering awards ceremony next month.
Staff, students and academic leaders from some of the country’s top institutions will attend the prestigious event held to announce the winners of the 2019 Herald Higher Education Awards.
Scottish television and radio presenter Bryan Burnett will host the ceremony at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow on Wednesday, June 5.
The awards, now in their fifth year, recognise innovations in teaching and research, groundbreaking partnerships between institutions, industry and the wider community and diversity.
This year, the awards are supported by the Scottish Funding Council, Dixon Walter, Scotwest Credit Union, the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), City of Glasgow College, technology provider Jisc, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education Scotland and IT and consulting business, CGI.
