It's D-Day for Scottish Agriculture Awards nominations!

It’s nominations D-Day for the inaugural Scottish Agriculture Awards, with just hours left to be in with a chance of securing a coveted award across a range of categories.

The event aims to showcase the outstanding work of farmers, agricultural individuals and businesses who are driving the industry forward and ensuring the sustainability and success of Scottish agriculture – often through challenging circumstances.

We want to hear from you who should be recognised at our inaugural awards, organised by The Scottish Farmer (Celebrating their 130th anniversary), AgriScot and the Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) and celebrate the very best in our Scottish Agricultural Sector

Adviser of the Year

This category is open to any adviser specialising in Agriculture. This could be a financial advisor, business advisor, arable advisor, livestock advisor or anything in between. Most importantly the judges are looking for an adviser who goes above and beyond for their clients.

Contractor of the Year

This category is open to any business or individual offering Agricultural Contracting services with a high standard of practical and technical knowhow. Do you go above and beyond for your customers, ensuring you exceed expectations and meet deadlines whilst providing accurate and cost-effective work.

Young Farmer Initiative of the Year

This category will recognise an initiative created by a Young Farmer or group aged 30 or under. How has the initiative bettered the farming community – health & safety, mental health, building community spirit? We want to hear from you.

Agricultural Employee of the Year

Our employees are an integral part of agriculture in their role to support the raising of livestock, use of machinery in addition to planting and harvesting crops. We want to recognise those who are an invaluable member of the team.

Machinery Dealer of the Year

We are looking to recognise a Machinery Dealer who has demonstrated outstanding performance while evidencing dedication and commitment to their customers. The Machinery Dealer’s primary business will be buying or selling of new or used farm equipment, or both.
