MORE than 400 members of Scotland’s highly respected legal profession are set to gather in Glasgow next week for the 2017 Law Awards of Scotland in association with HR Consultancy.
Comedian and broadcaster Des Clarke will host the at event at The Hilton in Glasgow, on St Andrews day, Thursday November 30.
The awards are organised by The Herald and supported by HR Consultancy, Allied Surveyors, Law Society of Scotland, McKinstry Practice Management and Stirling Park.
The awards celebrate individuals, teams and firms and the range of categories target in-house legal providers, local, national and global law firms, and individuals within the sector.
New categories introduced this year include Trainee of the Year, Junior Solicitor of the Year, Banking and Finance Team of the Year, Advocate of the Year and Silk of the Year. The new awards ensure recognition across the length and breadth of the industry.
