The nominees for the inaugural Herald online fashion awards have been announced.

The awards, which celebrate the world of online fashion, drew more than 100 entries from retailers, bloggers and designers.

Judges then whittled these entries down to a shortlist of 39 finalists in 11 categories.

The event, which is sponsored by Debenhams, Glasgow Caledonian University Glasgow School for Business and Society and Scotland Re:Designed, takes place on November 16 at Arta in Glasgow and will be hosted by model Eunice Olumide.

A Glasgow Caledonian University spokesman said: “We at Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow School for Business and Society, are at the forefront of fashion education and are proud to support The Herald online fashion awards and to sponsor the Scottish Online Fashion Graduate of the Year category.

“We are delighted at the high standard of entries and the four finalists in our category and wish them all the best in the competition.”
