Who can enter?
Any Scottish university or college that offers degree courses.
Why should I enter?
Not only does being shortlisted for (or better yet, winning) an award present a fantastic opportunity to position your institution as outstanding within the industry, it is also a major morale boost for you or your workforce and is a great PR opportunity both at the event and long after. If you win, you will also receive a trophy for your display cabinet!
How do I enter?
You must complete our entry form to submit a nomination. Head to the ‘How to Enter’ section above for instructions.
Can I enter more than one category?
You can submit as many nominations as you like across the different categories. The categories and criteria for each can be found in the ‘Categories’ section above.
Please note that the overall Higher Educational Institution of the Year award cannot be entered. The winner is selected by the judging panel based on the entries in other categories.
What is the deadline for entries?
The entry deadline is 6pm on Tuesday, March 19. ENTRIES HAVE NOW CLOSED
Can I submit additional information?
Yes, you can upload supporting documents within the application form.
How much does it cost?
It is free to enter the awards.
Tickets to the Awards evening are:
Individual Ticket – £230
Table of 10 – £2,175
Table of 12 – £2,600
Ticket prices include VAT
How does the judging process work?
All the entries we receive will be considered by our expert judging panel at the judging session in April. Please note that the shortlist and winners are decided solely by our panel and do not come down to a public vote or number of nominations received.
When will the shortlist be announced?
The shortlist will be listed in The Herald and on the event website in mid April.
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will be announced at our glittering awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in Glasogow. For more information and to purchase tickets, head to ‘The Awards Ceremony’ section.
