THE Herald and Innovators Magazine have joined forces to launch new awards designed to recognise and reward innovation and sustainability across all business sectors.

The organisers of the inaugural Global Game Changers awards are seeking entries to nine categories. Those range from Corporates for Good – businesses which use sustainable smart technology solutions or adopt pioneering practices – to “intrapreneurs” within organisations and start-ups.

The Global Game Changers Awards, which are supported by City of GlasgowCollege and law firm Bond Dickinson, aim to promote meaningful shifts in culture, towards a more open, sustainable and innovative future for the global economy.

A spokesperson for City of Glasgow College said: “We are committed to “Letting Learning Flourish” through a culture of inspiration, excellence and innovation. As a College delivering innovative products which support Glasgow and Scotland’s economy we are delighted to be supporting the Global Game Changers Awards.

John Ralph, partner and head of real estate at Bond Dickinson said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring the ‘Collaboration for Change’ category at the Global Game Changers awards. As a firm we embrace innovation and constantly strive to maintain our exceptional levels of service by developing new ways of working with our clients.”
