Among those competing on multiple fronts is Glasgow-based Screenmedia with nominations for education and training, best mobile application and digital agency this time. Others with three nominations are Line Digital and Storm ID as well as Dundee based Blue2 Digital.

The awards ceremony takes place at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow this Wednesday.

Nominees in the business to business category are Blue2 Digital, Golden Charter, FreeAgent and ResDiary.

Dojo Design Studios is up against two separate pieces of work from Line Digital for the retail and e-commerce award. In the public sector prize, Blue2 Digital, Culture Republic, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Scottish Swimming and Storm ID are on the shortlist while the best mobile app award is between Screenmedia, Spider Online and xDesign 365.

Blue2Digital is joined by Edinburgh International Film Festival, Equator, Front Page and Storm ID with GCMB in the consumer engagement category. Storm ID, Screenmedia and Verisim are competing for the education and training prize.

The student award, sponsored by the Scottish Institute for Enterprise, is between Susan Creighton from Abertay University, Olivia Feng at Glasgow University and City of Glasgow College’s Jennifer McGregor.

Caliber, Entrepreneurial Spark, FreeAgent, MadeBrave and Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce are on the shortlist for the best use of social media. Alienation Digital, Equator, Line Digital, Radiator Digital, Screenmedia and xDesign365 are in the race to secure best digital agency.
