THERE is still time to enter this year’s Scottish Digital Business Awards.

Organised by The Herald, in association with DigitalBoost and supported by Business Gateway and SQA, the awards strive to recognise firms, organisations and individuals which are seizing the opportunities offered by digital technology.

There are 13 categories to enter, including the new Emerging Talent Award and the award for Outstanding Contribution to the Digital Community. There will also be an inaugural Innovative Use of AI Award.

The deadline for entries is Friday September 6, and the awards take place on Wednesday October 23 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow.

Hugh Lightbody, chief officer at Business Gateway National Unit, said: “We work with thousands of Scottish businesses every year, from start-ups to established organisations, witnessing not only the huge benefits digital business tools can bring, but also the time and dedication required to produce an exceptional digital strategy. The 2019 Herald Scottish Digital Business Awards are an excellent opportunity to reward businesses who have integrated digital elements into their processes in a positive way, enhanced the customer experience and revolutionised their operations.”
