The conference will clearly set out the economic and business case for greater diversity while showcasing real change that has been affected across the topic.

With a packed programme of speakers and contributors – the day will focus on how we, as a country, have challenged perceptions and achieved diversity and inclusion across Scotland’s workplaces.

Delegates will also hear from a range of fantastic speakers from the event sponsors and some of Scotland’s largest leading organisations.

This year’s conference is supported by BAE Systems, City of Glasgow College, CIPD, City Building, Deloitte, Diageo, JP Morgan, MacRoberts, ScottishPower and Taylor Wimpey, who will share their knowledge and experience throughout the conference agenda.

It is also an opportunity for delegates to learn and share best practice and to hear the lessons and experiences of some well-known diversity champions including Andy Nicol, CEO from ABSTRACT UK, Stacey Winters from Deloitte, Audrey Ross from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, Gavin Neate from Neatebox and Claire Birkenshaw, patron for ‘Think2Speak’.

In addition, we will learn from inspiring individuals breaking down barriers and stereotypes through our diversity panels, Challenging Industry Norms and Real Life, Real Stories.

Delegates will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions which will host discussions that focus on four key aspects of developing, implementing and measuring a diversity and inclusion strategy.

These are: Top Strategies for Success featuring Flexible Working; Difficult Conversations; Measuring Progress and Funding Diversity and Inclusion Activities Within these sessions delegates will discuss some of the key diversity challenges facing organisations today and gain knowledge and insight from some of Scotland’s leading practitioners.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to hear first-hand from our panel participants on their life experiences and challenges.
